This in-person session focuses on how employers can use Work Experience (WEX) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs to expand access to work while meeting real business needs. Presented by NCWorks, the briefing will walk through how these programs operate locally and how employers can pre-screen candidates with skill gaps to assess eligibility.
The presentation will be followed by Q&A and discussion, with emphasis on practical application, employer readiness, and responsible program design.
