Scholarship Application

    The Fayetteville Area Society for Human Resource Management (FASHRM), is a professional organization consisting of members from every facet of the human resource environment.  FASHRM is committed to the professional development of the members through active involvement in the community and within the FASHRM organization. The outstanding professionals are here, steadfast, and available to assist colleagues, organization leadership, and organizations as a whole to provide the best human resource products possible.

    The FASHRM Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university.  Scholarship support to individuals is provided on an equal opportunity basis regardless of race, sex, creed, or religion.  Through this initiative, assistance is provided to ensure students continue their uninterrupted education. 

    Completed Scholarship applications must be submitted no later than May 31 (current year) to be considered.  All students who apply for a scholarship will be notified of the amount of the scholarship awarded or the applicant will be notified that they did not receive a scholarship any later than August 15, (current year).

    Scholarship applications along with instructions are located on the FASHRM website at www.fashrm.org linked on the home page of the FASHRM website and the completed scholarship application supporting documents may be uploaded to the site via the supporting documents link located at the bottom of the application as a word document, pdf, or image. As an alternative, they may also be emailed to the Chair, College Relations at FayettevilleSHRM@gmail.com.

    Important Scholarship Information

    Applicant must have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA).

    Applicants must attach a copy of their official high school or college transcript (Must have school seal affixed).

    Applicant must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

    Applicant must submit a 300-word essay explaining why you are pursuing a degree in your chosen field of study.

    Applicant must agree to attend at least one FASHRM Chapter meeting during the year after receipt of the scholarship to speak on how the scholarship helps you continue your education.
